Protect your home from water damage with these key tips. 1) Make sure all your gutters survived the ice and snow. Be sure to fix any downed gutters and make sure your downspouts are draining at least 8’ away from the house. 2) Make sure your sump pump, if your home has one, is working properly. 3) Check any window wells and make sure they are free of leaves or other debris that may have gathered in them over the winter.
